From what I hear, the game is supposed to be staked against you. On Legendary? That Achievement SCARES me....

I was really hoping Bungie would take a cue from Infinity Ward and stop doing multiplayer Achievements. IW has shown that they aren't necessary to keep people playing, and the multiplayer Achievements in the past have typically had a detrimental effect on team gameplay.
Damn, I saw this yesterday on Bungie.net.. I can't wait though! Damn right I'm a Halo and achievement whore.
Saying that, I really don't like Halo 3's multiplayer aspect (just because I find it slow-paced and I'm not the best)... also, how the hell am I to get 10 kills in a row legit w/o camping? Do not like insane online achievements.
Oh well, Reach will be a GREAT final huzzah for Bungie and the Halo series.

I'm pretty sure I don't have a little achievement whore, or a little Halo whore in me... anywhere. That said, I'm looking forward to trying out Halo Reach when it's released. Hamza's excitement for the game is infectious.

lol you dont get it thats okay. i just dont give a rats ass about achievements. yes i play cod and some halo but i think achievements are just a dumb topic when the game isnt even out yet. oh i also play borderlands (until my gf stole it). k bye :)
@Dexter: There are only 4 multiplayer achievements though, and one of them seems to be more luck based than anything.

Campaign on Legendary really isn't that bad. There'll be probably be a part or two that'll make you want to throw your controller, but as long as you're not stupid you'll be okay.
I hope there's no "Kill two Banshees in one Needler shot while jumping and throwing all your plasma grenades" kind of scheivments :'(

all games achievements are news!! its really important to know that a game wil give you +5 epenis points for killing 100 dumb ai enemies, or for GASP finishing the game you fukken paid.

I love waypoint but I despise it for the fact that I don't and probably never will have a perfect Halo score because I don't wanna boost for General in Halo Wars and I'm nowhere good enough to get Perfection on a real map, let alone mythic :(

I'm excited for Reach. It's the first Halo game I've ever been excited for, so that's saying something.
Also, my mom saw the banners advertising the game and immediately said she wants to see me play it because she thinks it looks badass. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

I just got over my Achievement/Trophy obsession a couple months ago. It took FFXIII to slap that out of me.
