[Update: Andriasang has confirmed that the August patch will grant full install support.]

It looks like the cat is out of the bag regarding the August Metal Gear Solid 4 trophy patch, but that's not all that's coming in terms of functionality. It seems as if Konami has confirmed that you are now able to fully install the game onto your PS3's HDD, meaning you don't have to constantly be jerked around and installing bits and pieces as you go.

The problem is that Konami hasn't confirmed this as a function of the patch itself, only as a feature of the "best" budget version of the game, coming to retail around the same time in August.

As someone who has a save file before every boss in the game, not having to constantly re-install every chapter separately will be a God-send. I just hope it comes in the form of a patch, as one lone feature will be a hard sell for a double-dip.

Review: Bayonetta 2

Outside of Devil May Cry 3, Bayonetta is one of the finest action games of all time. The action systems were so clean, so precise, and so rewarding that it leaves pretty much everything these days in the dust.Bayonetta 2 doesn't change a whole lot, and that's perfectly okay with me.more

One of the biggest gripes I hear from friends interested in but hesitant to play Japanese role-playing games is that they're too "complicated." It's a sentiment I've never understood; several take great pains to be accessible...more
