Brutal Legend to go crazy during E3, giving away a guitar
Double Fine is ready to rock during E3, with plenty planned for their big unveiling for their upcoming title Brutal Legend. They've got a scheduled live Twitter...thing, a new Brutal Legend trailer, and a new installment of Brutal Thoughts with Jack Black. Best of all, they'll be giving away a real guitar, inspired by Tenacious D. If you want to get down with the live Twitter action with Double Fine's own Tim Schafer, be ready to tweet at 6p.m. PST on June 2nd. Send your questions to @BrutalLegend using the Twitter tag #E3BL. Schafer will log on and answer you questions about the game or anything else. If you're wanting to win the Brutal Legend/Tenacious D guitar, you'll need to sign up at the E3 Brutal Legend webpage and pray to the rock gods that you're selected as the lucky winner on July 10th. I wish they'd let us see what the guitar looks like. If it looks anything like the in-game guitar they're giving away, it's going to be pretty badass. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)poopface morty: You do realise that the guitar won't be very good if you win it in a contest. It'll probably keep going out of tune every single time you try to play. @Crazyape69: How do you know that? Just because they're giving it away doesn't mean it's worthless. This is a promotional item from a multibillion dollar company. I'd think they could afford better than a Wal-Mart guitar. @SephirothX: Does this game's existence offend you somehow? I can understand apathy toward it, but wishing it would go away? How would that benefit you? Dexter, you kidding? CrazyApe knows everything; I can just tell he's kingshit of fuckmountain when it comes to knowledge on every possible thing known to man. So much so that he sure as shit knows that winning a custom guitar that you paid nothing for would simply be a waste of time...not a profitable investment at all. Why enter a contest for free and win a custom guitar themed after Tenacious D or Brutal Legend on the off-chance that it's a piece of shit? Why, it isn't even worth it...his realist cynicism has brought me back to Earth. I'm e-mailing EA right now to take me off their mailing list and disqualify me from the contest entry. It's just not worth the hassle man.
Keep on truckin' Ape...you're cool as fuck man. I'm sure the bitches are moist as shit every time you lay down the Internet-cynicism. *fist pump* Well I, as Fuckshit of Kingmountain say that this game and contest both seem awesome and that some people are just waaaay to pissy and hateful about a game that haven't played and a guitar they've never seen. bowed, with a view to conciliation, I got only the stiffest and order lipitor online 4:30 PM on 05.14.2013 Humble Double Fine Bundle adds a bunch of prototype gamesA week ago, the Humble Double Fine Bundle was announced.
