Brutal Legend is out today, we've got stuff to give away
Electronic Arts has not sent me a copy of Brütal Legend, but would still like me to help promote their game for them. Not sure how that works but Hell, I've already agreed and we've got two sweet limited edition 17" Eddie Riggs statues (which I also would like and don't have) to give away to some lucky Destructoid readers. In celebration of today's launch date, we are going to give out a pair of these things right here, right now. If you missed out on getting one of these coveted items during our Twitter party, now's your chance. Entry is simple. All you have to do is post in this comment thread. Yep, it's yet another one of our "Give us loads of pageviews and we might give you a prize" contests! Since we're giving away some very limited edition goods here, we're not going to make it too easy, so here's the scoop, kids: We want to give one statue away for every 1,000th comment we receive. Yes, what that means if that the comment thread to this article will require 2,000 comments before we've given both statues away. Whoever gets comment 1,000 and comment 2,000 wins. You can attempt to win as many times as you like, so feel free to F5 that bitch. We've got all day. On, and there's a review going up today as well. Check that out when it happens. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.

"Xbox 360 is for casual gamers, Halo is easy and Uncharted is better than Gears of War." See you in 900 ish comments when I'm back to spam the fuck out this page.
p.s Jim, Is this open to non US members? Doing that experience with Monkey Island is what taught me that, “No, actually, you’re right. The stupid ideas that you have are often the best you have,” and who cares what anyone else thinks about them? Everyone else is wrong, and those people are really stupid, so who cares what they think? So take those dumb ideas and run with them. There are no consequences for putting that stuff out there. That’s what I would encourage people to do, run with their stupid ideas more.
