That's right: it appears that the Wii's accessible controls not only make it the system of choice for grandmas and fat chicks, but also personal heroes of mine. In this interview sent to us by BlindsideDork, Bruce 'The Man Who Would be Ash' Campbell states that "I was pretty good on the primitive games -- Asteroids, Berserk, etc, but the only 'video system' I can use is the Wii."
Truth be told, I'm not sure what's more awesome: the fact that Campbell still refers to consoles as "video systems," or the mental image of Brisco County Jr. flailing around like a spastic during a marathon session of Wii tennis. Complain all you want that the Wii is directed only at children, but don't come crying to us when Bruce Campbell shoves a Wiimote up your wazoo and follows it up with a cynical, pop-culture related catchphrase.
It's disgusting how men continue to be objectified in the games industry. Here's our latest example: meningameshotornot.tumblr.com
