I have no idea what to feel about this game . I love me some Bruce but hate me some licensed games for a movie. But spiderman 2 was that and they have had a big cycle to work on this. It all comes down to how fun it is to swing and I'm a swinger baby. Then again this is the one front beenox has failed at. Shattered dim did a lot of great things except it didn't have that web swing. Web of shadows was crap but the swinging was perfect so I put hours into a crap game. I just need a quick hands on demo to know if I will buy it.
Bruce Campbell is not my favorite actor, John Candy has that honor.
Looked up Beenox. Not a great track record, but Spider Man 2 was surprisingly decent. Just build upon what Treyarch did with that and don't muff up the controls and camera.

Well it's official, Bruce Campbell has gotten more work out of Spiderman than Sam Raimi or Tobey Maguire.
Anyone play the 3DS demo? I checked it out for a couple minutes last night before bed. So, I can't really say anything good or bad for the most part.
I will say that on the 3DS all you have to do is hold the swing but and he just auto swings. I hope that will not be the case on the console versions.

Well, I keep hearing it evokes 2 things: The Arkham Asylum style gameplay, with the Spider-Man 2 open world feel.. Which really peaks my interest for the game despite being a movie tie. I mean, even folks from this site have said it.
So I have some hope for this game being at least decent enough to make me want to pick it up.. Which, even though I hear they're good, Beenox's last few Spidey games haven't been able to do (and this is coming from a dude who has Spider-Man tatted on his leg, I normally eat up anything with him in it)

Is there a mini-game where you hit Spider-Man in the chest with a hammer until his lungs will with blood and he suffocates?
Well, Spiderman 2 was a licensed game made to coincide with an upcoming blockbuster, and it put the example on how to make a great Spiderman game. Then again, Spiderman 3 was crap. So i'm not sure about this one =/
I played Spider-Man 1 & 2 on GameCube just for Bruce. I couldn't stomach much of 3 despite his inclusion. Spider-Man 2 was great fun in the city parts but the combat mechanics were terrible. As long as you weren't playing the story, it was fun.

Playable Stan Lee, and now the sexiest piece of man-meat alive, Bruce Campbell? I think this might be enough awesomeness to counteract the curse of bad videogame adaptations of big budget movies.

Web of Shadows had terrible voice acting, but that game is entirely underrated. Awesome web swinging, a changing open world with different sandbox activities depending on the stage of city evolution, incredibly fun cameos and boss levels, and the most amazing aerial combat in the series to date.
This game looks great, even my wife wants to play it!, but I think I'll lament the loss of that web combat.
