BritToid Ep 5: Keep calm and leave a message
Well look at us lot! We are back again with our fancy European swagga', minimalistic design and our stylish accents. This time myself (your European Community manager), Daniel Seto (the token Asian), Daniel Carniero (the not actually German who we call Germany) and Jake (the lovable giant) bring you more Euro-trash ramblings. On top of that we bring you our first ever episode to include our new Skype voicemail feature! Yes, we encourage our listeners to call in and leave us random messages to feature in the episode, and so far so good. This episode of BritToid sees the casts tell you what they have been playing, we discuss our prediction of the number one Christmas games and of course we discuss the idea of videogames addiction thanks to the popular BBC current affairs program, Panorama. Remember you can follow BritToid on Twitter, leave messages to BritToid.Destructoid on Skype, subscribe to us on iTunes and find us on Zune and direct download! Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)Listening now, sad to hear about Seto's PS3 though I'm guessing/hoping it's sorted by now. Can't wait for the next one! :) Wait, so it's LA-ra and not Lor-ra? Isn't that how you people say it, too? Like, how you pronounce "er" as "ah"? @Matty125: I say LAH-RUH, not LAW-RA or Lor-uh or anything.
I liked this episode, but felt I went on WAY too long in the answerphone part, sorry! @matty125 It's "Lar-raa". "Lor-ra" would require it to be spelt with a U. "Laura" and "Lara" are not the same name. It'd be like calling someone "Mick" when their name is "Mike". You guys gotta do this more often. I seriously forget about it every time, and if it wasn't for keeping up on my rss feeds I'd easily miss it.
