BritToid ep 18: Keep calm and say farewell to Hollie
So here it is, ladies and gentlemen: not only my very last BritToid, but also my very last front-page post as staff here at Destructoid. As of tomorrow, I will be the new Consumer and Community PR for Namco Bandai in the UK. On a quick personal note I would like to thank to all of those who showed me love and support when I discovered I was nominated for the Games Media Rising Star award. Sadly I didn't win but I would never have gotten where I am today if it wasn't for the unbelievably amazing community here at Destructoid; it has indeed been an honor that I cannot thank you enough for. I'm going to miss you all like crazy but please make sure you keep up with me on Twitter! It was incredibly sad putting together this episode, and looking back, I only wish I had started BritToid sooner so that I could have helped it grow even more than it has already. I want to thank all of you who have listened to BritToid over the last year or more, and for all the amazing support we have received; it isn't easy when Podtoid is your big brother. But fear not, BritToid will indeed continue with the addition of Becca Roberts, Destructoid's new Europe-focused PR lady -- good luck, Becca, you are going to need it! And don't let Gandy pick on you. Remember, you can subscribe to us on iTunes, download directly and follow us on Twitter. If you want to get involved with the Destructoid EU community, you can join our emailer here for daily cat pictures and an angry Geordie who spends far to much time in the rant emailer. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
