Quantcast

British comedians Ray Peacock and Ed Gamble understand the power of Destructoid. Speaking on this past week's Peacock & Gamble Podcast, the successful British duo talked about how our linking to a Ray Peacock stand-up video in an article got them a fat wedge of views.

Like any wise businessman, Ray Peacock realizes that getting Destructoid on your side is a veritable golden ticket of success and wants to get in with us. As you can hear in the above clip, if everybody who watched the video subscribed to the podcast, Peacock & Gamble would be the stately barons of the iTunes chart and be carried around on a big chair. I've been doing Podtoid for about two years and am yet to taste this success, but Peacock & Gamble aren't as hated as I am so they're in with a good chance!

So, as a favor to me AND I WON'T ASK ANYTHING OFF YOU EVER AGAIN ACTUALLY, go and subscribe to the podcast because it's very funny. I am well aware that this is shameless advertising, just so I can impress two comedians I like and then I can be their mate and get with all their girls that they probably have, but there it is.

Destructoid is the King Maker.

I don't subscribe to things, not because I feel I'm above it all, but because I don't have iTunes and I don't use RSS. I will however give these guys a listen whenever I can though, they're pretty funny.

You're the reason I downloaded an episode of their podcast some time last year (a Twitter I believe), and ever since I've been a huge fan. Each podcast is like 30 minutes, but it's all complete British hilarious nonsense, which is just what I want.

To be fair to Jim, if I believed I found for myself a tenuous link to the industry I wish I had become a part of a decade ago I would certainly seize it.

I'm just awaiting the news that Ed Gamble has been mysteriously murdered, and the Peacock and Sterling podcast to start up.

@ Fanatism: I don't know what podcast you speak of, but I doubt it was ever recorded on a roller-coaster or sledge ride.

Oh this is nice and thank you for a lovely writing all about me and Ed doing that podcast we done.

For all the ones who are worried about it not being about video games please rest assured that we both do video games and I have got loads of them. In fact, if any of you can give me some sort of idea about a plan of action with regards to Heavy Rain which my one has completely frozen at in the murder scene by the railroad tracks. I am furious with it and now consider Quantic Dream to be the Toyota of the PS3 games developers...At the moment I want to just take it back to the shop and forget it ever existed. And I don't like feeling like that because I was well enjoying it up until it died. A bit like Fraser.

Destructoid is well my favourite website and is now even on my sticky tabs.

Thank you for support (real)

Someday all your plugging of these guys will get me to listen but I have a short attention span and continually forget to come back and give them a try.

Some day... some day.

i have yet to make a decision...

Jim, riddle me this...How much of the video game show what i done is inspired by Ray Peacock and Ed Gamble and how much of it is your own awesomenessitosity?

Oh, that much? okay, I guess I'll go subscribe once I get home. for some reason i can get onto dtoid at work but we can't even download itunes at work. Boo for content blockers.
