Bethesda has released a new trailer for its highly promising shooter Brink, and it looks more beautiful than David Bowie's golden scrotum. None of it's gameplay, of course, but it still manages to hype and excite like all good trailers should.
I'm not sure why literally everybody in this game is dressed like some sort of creepy fetishist, but I like it! The characters shown in the trailer have distinct and evocative looks, and in a generation permeated by cookie cutter space marines, it's great to see such vibrant imagery. I'm really impressed by the art direction for Brink, that's for certain.
Looks awesome, has potential. That's what we like to see.

what if saw from several gameplay trailers was allot like those mirrors edge inbodyment parkour-like movements. So i think this a big part of the game. But not as fast an fluid as in the vid above.
this trailer remindet me allot on the avp3 demo. stealth kill...get killed with a stealth kill...my killer...got killed with a stealth kill...and so on.stealth kill parade.

Looks awesome. I've been wanting a FPS with Mirrors Edge style mechanics for a long time.
Because they often convey, at the very least, the aesthetics, artistic direction, and style of the gameplay. Sometimes they can tease content but they're generally just a nice barometer for whether or not a game's style might pique your interest. They can also be fairly entertaining, in and of themselves.

Looks like a nice mix of TF2, Fallout 3, and Mirrors Edge.
now after seeing the gameplay, it looks like a pretty intense shooter and the S.M.A.R.T. system looks pretty useful for intense firefights
i heard something about a UAV in one of the vids...i hope they dont take CoD killstreaks and implement them, it'd be weird considering the rest of the game looks fresh for an FPS
Not to say it won't have solid game play but I'm not wow'ed by it. Actually, I'm from what I have seen, outside of the costumes...the rest of the game is still dark and ...ehh..I duno.
This reminds me of the Team Fortress guys if they were in the Road Warrior. Can't wait to play this one.
I hope the parkour elements meshing with the FPS action live up to the game's awesome style. If so, this will definitely be a day-one purchase.
I have high hopes for this game though, I really do.
