ya know i would have ot say despite being a jerk about the videogame violence thing Thompson does seem like a pretty kool guy

It's taken me this long to figure it out but Jack Thompson is one of the most successful real life trolls. His entire crusade against games must have just been entirely for the lulz since now that the entire institution of law hates him he's just doing random crap like this.
That's it... he's gonna flip this shit on all of us and make Phoenix Wright game, and then go after anti-gamer groups with vicious lunacy.

I can see a videogame company giving him some bucks and he will come out and say that videogames are totally cool.

I realized several months ago that I quite like Jack Thompson. Just because you disagree with someone's politics doesn't mean you can't tolerate the person. And when you think about it, he's much better than a lot of the anti-games lobby. I mean at least he has some idea of what he's talking about. And this is just the latest piece of evidence that's come about recently that he's a damn funny guy.
I realized a little bit ago than Jack Thompson and I are somewhat alike. Not at all as far as games or politics are concerned, but I've come to realize that he's fully aware of his persona in a public space, and he uses the attention he grabs to churn the maximum amount of dialogue and controversy. Not to mention, to be completely honest I think he can be fscking hilarious the 2 or 3 times i've seen him break character. I can't believe I'm saying this on the internets, but I don't mind JT much anymore.
Good, Good, at least he has a sense of humor, now if only he could learn a little more about the reality of video games, rather than being in his own little fantasy world....
