Much more quickly than expected, digging at the site of the newly discovered Egyptian tomb unearthed this morning has been completed, with the structure's entrance now in full view and ready to be opened. Destructoid's Egyptian correspondent who enjoys referring to himself in the third person, Geraldo Beedog, is on the scene and waiting for crews to be given the green light to begin exploration of the tomb's interior.
Across the globe, internet media continues to speculate, and it is still assumed that this discovery is nothing more than a stunt to promote Egyptian Dental Fair. Surely you would never spy Geraldo Beedog allowing such tomfoolery to take place unreported, and I will thusly be liveblogging the opening of the tomb to ascertain the validity of this story. [UPDATE]: Markings on the outer walls of the tomb have now been deciphered by hieroglyphics experts, and it has been determined that the tomb is that of a forgotten ancient Pharaoh, known as King Tutan-Ramen. More on this as it develops.
