Brazil gets a semi-awesome portable Genesis photo

Brazilians will be getting a handheld Genesis system on December 5th. It will have 20 built in games ranging from Sonic, Altered Beast, Ecco, Golden Axe, Kid Chameleon and more. This is an official Sega product and it will take 20 D sized batteries to run. I'm just kidding, that was a jab at the Game Gear. I'm hilarious! It only needs three AAA batteries to run.

This does sound like an awesome idea but there's just one small little detail that ruins this entire concept. It costs R$199, which converts to $113 US monies. If you really needed a portable Genesis, then I'd suggest buying a Nomad online. They're less than half of this machine and you can actually swap out different games in the Nomad ... And you can use the left over cash to rent out a hooker too!

Switching face plates on the New 3DS looks easy enough

Feels like the New 3DS was only just announced the other week, but it's already available in Japan. Nintendo has been busy uploading videos like this one which details how to swap out the system's face plates. Interestingly, the stylus can be used to pry them open. Neat design! There are also a ton of videos showing the various 3DS themes.more
