We attended Capcom's Lost Planet party last week in San Francisco, and supposedly, the public has ever seen this particular scene before. Hooray! What you're watching is the intro level to the single player game.
When starting out in the campaign mode, you get dropped into a battle with a gigantic alien, and then you start running for your life. It hits the major aspects of the game: mechs, big alien bugs, Anchor Shot. After the big bug kills your Dad, you pass out, and the game then goes through some text, and then to the title screen. After that, it's a huge story cinematic, and after that ... I can't say. We we're lucky to have this sneak peek as is! They would have fed me to a large insect if I recorded any more.
