Braid bringing rewind potions to PS3 next week photo

Braid is a pretty terrific game as far as platformers go, and anyone gaming primarily on a PlayStation 3 will soon have the chance to see what all the fuss is about; cause for celebration if I've ever seen it.

First up is the North American release, which is happening on November 12. Or, using my new method of telling game release dates, it's coming out on the Thursday after Modern Warfare 2 hits. As for the European launch, well, be on the lookout for an announcement in the coming weeks.

Pricing? Nothing official yet. But after the outrage for the PC version's original cost, I think Braid on PS3 for $14.99 is most likely a safe bet.

I'm sorry, but the princess is on another console.

woot! nice to see what all the fuss is about. I'll pick it up when it comes out, but it better not be another xbox->ps3 disappointment like netflix :(

The sad thing is I have this on xbox and PC, and if I had a ps3, I would probably get it for that too. I always feel like playing braid.
Though I did get it when it was 5 bucks on steam...
This and Machinarium are the two most memorable games I have played in a while, as in, I think about them a lot when I am not even playing. I need help

Good, everyone should get to play this game. I think it will do well, too, release date as it is. Money may be tight but Braid is not a super-realistic cinematic warfare game. Different strokes for semi-different folks.

Best $15 I've ever spent on a game.

This... is sudden... Why hasnt there been any form of hype over this port? Oh well, as long as it's coming. Now bring us Castle Crashers as well!

@donkeykong

Nope, it premiered on XBLA at $15. It and Castle Crashers (another great game that's coming to PS3 soon) were the two games that ushered in the $15 price point.

This is stoopid , ain't got no point to the game. But you can't run out of going-back-in-time potion so I guess it's aight.

This game is for people who like to drink, and get drunk, and for people who like to smoke, and get high.

i would love to play this game, but there's one problem. i hate playing games on computer. the controls always blow, and sitting in front of my laptop for hours just doesn't seem like much fun. that being said, i'd buy this game in a second if it came to wii ware. hint hint, nudge nudge, kick in the teeth.

Bob, you should get a controller for your computer. You can even use a standard Xbox 360 controller. Then you have yourself a nice, portable game console with all kinds of emulation support and the odd indie game.

Christ, awesome. I'm not digging that price though. Too high for a way old game but the man's gonna make money.

Anyone who says Braid is too expensive at 15$ is nuts. Would you pay fifteen dollars for one of the best gaming experiences out there, when most games retail for over 40$ ? If all that stops you is the price, then you are doing your inner gamer a disservice.
