Box art for Fight Night Round 4 has Tyson, Ali pulling punches photo

Electronic Arts has revealed the cover for its upcoming boxing title, Fight Night Round 4, as voted by fans.

It features legends Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson taking swings at each other, but missing. Punches almost connect, but not quite. Ali appears to hit a bag of water just out of frame, but certainly not Iron Mike. Because of this, Tyson can still say nice things about Ali without looking like a total wimp.

"I’m honored to be on the cover of Fight Night Round 4 with Ali. He was a special champ, and I have the highest respect for him as a person and a fighter," he says.

EA recently had a community event showing off the Fight Night Round 4 goods, so we should start to hear a ton of info about the game soon. As a fan of the previous games, I'm a bit concerned that a different studio has its hands on the controls (former dev EA Chicago is no more). But I'm still optimistic, because that's just the kind of guy I am.

Well Excel, I don't think Ali had a bad career. I'm not really a boxing buff but it doesn't take much to recognize he was one of the best.

this excites me greatly. I could never find a copy of Fight night round 3, so I guess I'll just go for this.

Bite his motherfucking ear off! Also, wouldn't EA run into some legal problems you know do to royalty issues of using someone's likeness?

it's not THAT bad when it's only one or two athletes. They tend to make enoughmoney as it is, and aren't TOO greedy.

Too bad Tyson is batshit crazy because he was one hell of a boxer not too many years ago. I didn't enjoy 3 quite enough to buy it but I'll definitely be giving this a rent.

The cynical my is starting to get the feeling the reason they're making this game is so that they can put those two on the cover.

This game better be awesome, and not just FNR3.1
