Botanicula is coming so hide your trees or they will die
Botanicula, a point and click exploration game, takes place in a tree and revolves around five little tree creatures who try to save the last seed of their home from nasty parasites. And here is why you should care: its made by Amanita Design, who are also responsible for Machinarium. Botanicula, which is slated for early 2012 will be availible for the PC and Mac, with a hopeful release for the iOS and Android devices as well. Does this remind anyone else of Loco Roco? Not so much the gameplay or story, but the general feel. It has fun, light music, the palette is bright and cheerful, the graphics are simple, and heck even the bad guys remind me of those nasty little things from Loco Roco. Of course this is all based off of a quick teaser trailer, but I hope the game turns out as fun as the trailer looks. Did you know?
