Gearbox has announced a North American launch date for Borderlands 2 in a brand new trailer. If you're even mildly interested in this shoot-looting sequel, you'll want to watch it. It's full of so much Wub Wub.
Among the hot dubstep noise, we get to see all four playable characters in action, plenty of gameplay, and some nasty foreshadowing for the evil Handsome Jack. It's understandably gotten me just a little bit damp in my panties.

Never finished the first Borderlands, so I wasn't expecting to be very excited for this one but god damn. I just love the aesthetic of the series. This game looks gorgeous and badass, just like the first.
Yeah, I'm really fucking excited for this. The first Borderlands is one of my favourite games of this generation. Nice to see a game with an excellent sense of humour. Can't wait!
Never really got into the first one, but from the looks of it grinding out mobs of the same handful of things but in different colours is out. Cool. I like 2k as well, so I'll be keeping an eye on this =]
I've been anticipating the release date for a while! I recently got some friends into Borderlands and that's what we've been doing every Monday for the past three weeks.
Hopefully Pandora's changed to make it a more fun game with a less shitty interface.
Also, Jim, that is so very not dubstep. That is like shitty clubby noise trance house mashup horribleness (seriously, who the fuck brought back hoovers? They should have stayed dead in 1995). They toss in a bass wub and a 3/4 beat in there at the end but that doesn't make it dubstep.

Its just edm/bdm really, i mean Nero dont particularly stick to a certain genre, and in all honestly they are not that good...but its just easy to class this as dubstep to please the bros. I trust you know real dub, skream etc...

and in a time where making your own character is welcomed. i hate having to pick a "class" and stick with it.
but flying vehicles is a nice touch.

Holy Jesus Christ... looks like Zero will be my character of choice. I must have played through Borderlands 437 times, and I loved every minute of it. This looks incredible.
I'm tits deep in the first one now after skipping it the first time around and I am in love. Could not be more excited for this. I was expecting a spring/summer release for some some reason though. I guess September is technically summer. Also Anthony Burch is a plus.
Gearbox has earned my loyalty. The first game had offline split-screen and TRUE DLC(imo), not to mention was my personal GOTY. I will be picking up my preorder at midnight!
The "Zero" character has me absolutely salivating even though I usually prefer to run around as the hot chick, lol. Damn, September can't come soon enough!!
Looks like plenty of cameos from the first game characters to deliver that beloved fan service, AWESOME!

Definately excited more for it now than I was previously.
More for the fact that I really had no idea who the other characters were other than the dwarf guy.
