Boom Boom Rocket ... blindfolded

11:23 AM on 03.27.2007   |   Niero

Years of working as a producer at EA have apparently driven this man to madness: "Joe has crossed a border that many of us will never know. He can play an entire level of Boom Boom Rocket* on the hardest difficulty level and achieve a perfect score completely blindfolded. " The bad news is that his feat has influenced them to increase the difficulty of the game, so good luck trying this at home.

[*Editor's Note: Not to be confused with Chu Chu Rocket, the world title holder for the best video game commercial in the history of all humanity.]

Not to be picky but he does miss one...so not completely perfect. It is around the middle and my timer says 1:53 (for some reason it doesnt count the time how far it went but how much time is lefT)

Still alot of skill or memorization involved, kudos!

Impressive...

I can feel the dark side flowing through his veins. How high is his midichlorian count?

Also I'm digging the music actually. I'm bobbing my head along with him.

Looks cool, but isn't it basically an advanced DDR with a controller and pretty explosions? In DDR, four arrows scroll to the top, where you hit them. In this game, it looks like different colored explosions go to the top, where you hit them (corresponding to the controller buttons, I assume). I'd still get it, but it's not amazing or anything. Well, other than the guy's memorization.

DJ Duffy:
As the camera moves, the fireworks move, too, but the trigger line stays in the same place.

Yeah, its nothing new, but its probably the cheapest, easiest to get into rythm game (at least for the X360) right now, and I'll probably spend 800 points on it.

It's like DDR meets Fantavision. Weird.

so now it's cool to have a fireworks game.

Fantavision was "ghey" but for some reason this is K3WL!?!?!?

Nothing but posers wishing they were rocking the Fantavision back in the day, this game is just the poorman's version of it.

@BlindsideDork- I may be mistaken, but doesn't the game specifically say that he didn't miss any?
