Earlier today, we revealed some screenshots and details on Steven Spielberg's Boom Blox for the Wii. Now we have the debut trailer showing off the gameplay and Wiimote actions.

Now that I'm seeing this in action, it's reminding me more of LittleBigPlanet with the way everything reacts to each other. Looks like it could be a fun casual game in the already flooded casual game market the Wii has.

I couldn't help but laugh like a maniac watching the sheep and cows get blown away. Is anyone more/less interested now that you've seen it in action?

Look really good but this makes me think,

Why the fuck is Steven Spielberg doing a game like this? I figured he'd do an incredible story driven game like Indigo Prophecy or something.

Clockwork: Don't forget he's working on another project for the PS3 and X360 that will be story driven and what not.

Yet another reason for me to wish I had a Wii, though those are few and far between, relatively.

Hahaha, this is the silliest thing I've ever seen, but in a good way. I want to blow goofy shit up as soon as I can.

I think this is a great game and I'm interested in playing it more now. Spielberg wanted a game to play with his kids that adults will love too and I think he hit the nail on the coffin with this.

I'll admit, I was so iffy on this game earlier today. But now I am sold 110%. I want to blow stuff up Jenga style!

For some reason Little Big Planet sprang into my mind when watching this. Looking forward to this title for sure.

This looks far better than those screenshots led me to believe. Not only do those little block dudes look like the robots from Reboot, the game actually looks pretty fun. Its like playing with lego's, only you get to blow them up when your done. Could be a great time.

From the description of the game a little earlier I thought of Little Big Planet myself. I'd like to get my hands on Little Big Planet, but I don't have nor do I want a PS3, so I guess this will be a decent replacement.

So...LittleBigPlanet + Jenga = Boom Blox? I’m intrigued, but I don’t have a Wii, so me playing this isn’t likely.

I'm excited for it. It doesn't have to be some huge, story-driven game. After all, Steven Speilberg did make Animaniacs, and that show rocked.

Something tells me that the only thing Spielberg has to do with this game is he put his name on it. Maybe he came up with the general idea, but I find it hard to believe that someone known for making movies would come up with a game that looks this fun. Unless he's been playing games for a while and I don't know about, becuase this looks like a "gamers game" , not a "my first attempt at gaming" type game. Hope that came out right

I want to be interested, I really do, but the art style makes me cry inside a little. I look at it and see "derivative" not "original." I'll keep an eye on it, though. IF it plays much better than it looks, it may be worth it.

It definitely looks fun, but I really hope that this doesn't end up being a $39.99-49.99 game. I'd pay maybe $29.99 for it, but - as is - it really doesn't seem to be terribly deep from a game play perspective.

About 50% of the games out shouldn't be full price. If endless ocean was 50 bucks, many more people would have bought it, and wouldn't be enjoying it right now.

Well, this is WiiWare right? Meaning its only like $5.00.

I'm definitely sold now.

Also, creative people can be surprisingly creative in many areas. It is always suspect when someone tapes their name onto something. You never really know how much input they really had.

Did it HAVE to be "Blox" with an X? Anyway, I think I'm getting very enthustiastic about this title.
I'm guessing its the video's fault, but the game could've been more colourful though.

Who said the Wii couldn't do physics? This reminds me of barrel stacking in Crysis, although simpler and with less explosions.
