Boo! Ghostbusters content for LittleBigPlanet revealed photo

Media Molecule has been teasing it for awhile, but Sony Japan can't keep it in their pants. The upcoming Ghostbusters content for LittleBigPlanet has been revealed, and as is expected, is absolutely adorable.

The bad news is that it doesn't look like it'll be a big level pack with items like some had wanted, but the costumes may hit the spot -- a Slimer costume (or rather, a hat), a Marshmallow Man costumes, a "No Ghosts" costume, and a Ghostbusters outfit will all be made available on July 16.

Pricing is 200 yen ($2.15) per costume, or 600 yen ($6.50) for the full package. Siliconera, who picked up the news, notes that the pricing will probably change when it hits North America. But at least now you know approximately how many pennies you'll need to save to start busting those pesky sack ghosts in LittleBigPlanet.

[Update: From Media Molecule comes an image of the content with English text! It also confirms that "stickers" are also incoming. Check it out after the jump.]

Costumes are pointless.

Staypuft! :3 Still, I don't think they're actually that good apart from Slimer and still joins the long list of costumes I'm not prepared to pay for. Partially because I want more (decent) levels to run around in in which to be bothered to play the game some more.

That's a shame. I don't care that much for costumes. Although these look pretty cute. But they've said they were going to focus on making more levels so that's cool.

Maybe I'll just have to pick up the "Game of the Year edition". Because I can't get any of this without a PSN card.

Forget the costume, what'd be really great if you the sack dudes can use the proton guns to capture sack ghosts.

@Chronic
I honestly thought after all this hype, it would be proton guns and capturing. All they would have to do is modify the paintball gun into a stream.

Ah well, the costumes are neat.

Is it just me or do the Ray and Peter sackboys look exactly the same?

I too was hoping for some type of level pack to go with these, and while they are cute I'm not spending $5 for them.

If only they had brought out a MGS style level pack with the proton guns/traps, and all the behind-the-scenes stuff to do your own ghostbuster levels.
