Hudson's bringing our boy Bonk back next year, in a new title called Bonk: Brink of Extinction.
While we can guess it's a platformer, you wouldn't be able to tell from this new trailer which shows absolutely no gameplay whatsoever. Instead, Bonk tries to start a fire to warm his hands before a meteor hits the Earth. That's where the "extinction" comes in. Get it?
Brink of Extinction is slated to hit every console's digital distribution platform of choice -- Xbox LIVE Arcade for Xbox 360, PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3, and WiiWare for Wii. We're looking forward to seeing more than just a CG trailer soon; in the meantime, we'll be smashing our heads against things in preparation.

But Bonk games aren't about their epic storytelling, so I'll wait until I see some of that tried-and-true gameplay.
