Blur 360 beta open to all next week photo

The closed beta for Blur on Xbox 360 is so popular that Bizarre Creations ran completely out of invite codes. That's what lead designer Gareth Wilson told Kotaku Talk Radio this week. Since they can't get anybody else into the beta as it stands right now, they're opening it up to the public. Everyone with a Live Gold account should be able to download the beta next week.

And you should download it, by the by. This game got its hooks into me but good and the only thing that stopped me was reaching the level cap for the beta. Even still, it took a few more hours.

Who else is playing Blur? What's your loadout like when you play? I'm a close-combat person myself and a big fan of the Barge.

I'm a barge guy myself! I really love the beta, can't wait till the actual release. It'll be great to see more people on my friends list playing this.

While I do think it is more balanced, I still run into playing of Mario Kart'ish moments and have missed plenty of near 1st/2nd place finishes and ended up finishing in the teens right towards the end of the race.

I wish the weapon that fires the 3 pulses was more effective/damaging in terms of offense. Works good for defense, though.

I think I deleted this a few days ago to make space for the Lost Planet 2 multi demo (which sucked in my opinion). I like Blur a lot and played it quite a bit when the beta first started, I just got sick of the same 3 tracks and same cars.

How big (in terms of HDD space) is the beta? I'm not huge into racing games but BLUR looks awesome. Glad the beta is going public.

Im sorry but thats a lie. I was on the beta for the 360 and each day I got on, the number of people playing dwindled. Last time I played, which was about last tuesday or so, there was about 130ish people on. The max people Ive seen was about 1,300 ish
