We all know the story: Japan is kinda cold to Microsoft and the 360 has struggled because of that. We also know that
Blue Dragon is supposed to be the peace offering that warms the heart of many a Japanese gamer. After the title finally dropped in Japan,
early reaction seems to point to the attempt actually working on Microsoft's behalf. In fact, according to at least one
Japanese site, people actually waited overnight for the game. Shocking, isn't it?

Any time a company as large as MS listens to its constituents, it's good for all of us.
And this isn't the first time they've tried something like this either.
They tried it with the Xbox with Phantom Dust. Which was a great game that MS made a Asia only release then Majesco picked it up and released it in the US, with almost no marketing. Sad thing is Phantom Dust was a great game nothing like it and most people have never even heard of it.
