Ahhh, Blood Bowl. It's been a few months since we've seen any footage of it and I'm happy to report that the drought may be at an end. After the fold, you can see a new trailer -- the first of eight -- focusing on the individual teams you'll be able to control in the upcoming game.
Here we have the Goblins, a personal favorite. As you'll see, the game looks to be incredibly violent and I would expect nothing less from this adaptation of a classic tabletop game. Goblins get launched to and fro the field, bust out some vicious weaponry and finally score a touchdown.
I can't wait for this game and I'm hoping that before this run of videos is out that we'll have a firm release date on the title. It looks to be a ton of fun and I'm actually looking forward to a sports title for a change. How about you?

Meet the rest of the team
arg for a split second i thought those were orks from Dawn of War... Damnit iv had that on the brain recently. I want them to announce a new expansion pack with the Tau.
The digital version is out for PC, though in all honesty, they're getting people to pay for a beta phase -- it's been pretty buggy. It'll hit retail in September.
BB is a great game, I've been playing for the last couple of weeks, and a turn-based game can take an hour to playthrough. In a couple of turns you can change up the game and what seemed like sure defeat becomes victory as you score once and get ready to score a second time. I play as Chaos, and if you love crushing your foes rather than follow the actual rules of the sport, this is the race for you. It's great when a tackle manages to wound or even outright kill one of the "enemy" players.
The digital distribution they're using is very finicky and you may end up waiting weeks for a working activation code. That said, I'm glad I didn't wait 'til September for the subsequent Steam release. By that time, my Dwarven Deathroller will be waiting to grind the n00bs into blood pudding.
Blood Bowl is really a strategy game, putting this in sports is bound to give people the wrong impression. Still it's good to see that Blood Bowl is getting some coverage.
Blood Bowl also has a real time mode as well as the traditional turn based mode. But reading some of the reviews, I wish somebody made a remake or sequel to Mutant League Football.

@ Zeta Crossfire :
They are form Dawn Of War, because DoW is based on Warhammer and so is Blood Bowl.
Just don't play it on the "real time" blitz mode.
