Blood Bowl: Meet the Dwarves photo

Continuing their series of team-centric trailers for Blood Bowl, Cyanide has released a new video today. This time we're looking at the Dwarves. They are squat and muscular and they have that adorable, waddling run that only the grotesquely short can manage. Other than that, it's fairly similar to other trailers released for the game up to this point.

I don't usually play PC games, as my system limits what's available to me, so I'm getting really impatient for Blood Bowl to release on consoles. I want, nay, need to play this. My urge to run a team of Skaven through a tightly packed defensive line is becoming a bit overwhelming.

Thankfully, I won't have to wait too much longer, as Blood Bowl releases next month. Yay!

My Chaos team will take your Skaven down, Conrad! Provided I can draft Morg 'N' Thorg and Grashnak Blackhoof that is...

Yeh, I used to play Blood Bowl as a kid - wanna make something of it?

Funny you should mention Skaven, they're my favourite team to play against. My chaps never leave the field without inflicting at least 5 casualties when I'm up against the rat men.

Blood Bowl is excellent and (saying this as someone who never actually played it before the PC incarnation) pretty easy to pick up.

For someone that knows NOTHING about Blood Bowl, that's a fairly unimpressive trailer. Slow gameplay, and not enough blood... for something that's called Blood Bowl anyway.

This game is actually already out as a digital download from the official website. Unfortunately that version is loaded down with barely working DRM that prevents you from playing, as well as a large supply of bugs.

@KainX: It doesn't suck, but it assumes you know how to play the boardgame. It's not very intuitive. That's pretty much it's only fault along with longish load times.

I'd say it's a GREAT buy. I imported it and don't regret at all
