Deadly Creatures: GEICO Spoof

Does anyone else think that THQ might be worried that the recent spate of quality releases on Wii (like House of the Dead: Overkill and Mad World) threatens to crowd out it's own Deadly Creatures?

It might explain why THQ just dropped a new trailer for the game, a month after its launch. I doubt the ad was meant to broaden awareness of the game - the title makes only a brief appearance at the end of the spot. But people who already know about the game should have no trouble making the connection.

I still haven't played Deadly Creatures, and I'm still not sure I want to. But I know a good advertisement when I see one. That gecko's had it coming for a long, long time.
