I've been trying to cut down on WoW since I've been slowly becoming incapable of entertaining myself without logging on. Since I now have several more free hours a day, I decided to pick up music again, which I stopped pretty much when I started playing mmorpgs. I listen to a lot of chiptunes so I decided to try my hand at lo-fi music. I've only been screwing around with the programs for a few days but I managed to make most of a song so far. I need to whore it up and add another track but it's a start:

Not bad. Might be nice if the bassline part were mixed up a little more, but other than that I like it quite a bit.

I used lsdj, it's a game boy rom and you can download the demo version for free.

Pretty durn good for a first time LSDJer!
Remember: Make use of ALL four of those channels! Leave no space unfilled! Try using the Wave channel for bass, and alternating the bassline between WAV and PU2. Also, panning between the left & right channels helps your songs sound more robust.
