Next up folks will be a lovely little tale from when me and the fine folks that i was working with was closing one night.

So it was me, my assistant manager, third key, and another GA.... Sunday so we close at 6 o'clock. All was going fine untill.. and i will stop and interrupt this story for just a moment. But please.... if anyone knows why exactly people can not read the store hour signs on the doors of the stores is beyond my comprehension.

The sign clearly states "MONDAY - SATURDAY = 10PM-9PM(none holiday hours)// SUNDAY = 11AM-6PM" and yes people still insist on calling after we close asking "Hey if i come up their right now will i be able to do a trade real quick" when we specifically stated that when after we do the "Thank you calling..." bull that we informed them that we just closed... they continue.

Then its the fuckwads that pull on the door....... So continueing my story from above. Then this guy came up "HEY CAN I JUST GET SOMETHING REAL QUICK!?"..... my ASM looked at the time and she looked at us saying "He does know its 6:30pm right?...... SORRY SIR WE ARE CLOSED".

"PLEASE I KNOW WHAT I WANT, I PROMISED MY GIRLFRIEND THAT I WOULD GET HER A WII" (we actually had some in stock that day surprisingly) "Again sorry sir you'll have to come back tomorrow"..... he gets slightly frustrated then comes back in abit.

"I REALLY NEED TO GET THIS TONIGHT I DROVE ALL THE WAY OVER HERE FROM (he wasnt very speaking properly so we didnt get the place) TO GET IT FOR HER! I PROMISED HER I WOULD GET A WII!" ASM = "Again sir we cant do anything right now; our registers are closed; you will have to come back tomorrow"

So the moron continues this back and forth bullshit walking to his car... and pulling on the door... Then finally, he starts crying and his story changes... "YOU HAVE BROKE A LITTLE GIRLS HEART TONIGHT, ITS HER BIRTHDAY AND YOU BROKE HER HEART"......

We were mainly trying are best not to laugh while the guy has been 1 changing his story to the fact that he supposedly dates little girls.... and he's crying in front of a gamestop when he could have just came back tomorrow.... Which was when my ASM almost called the cops on him for basically almost not letting us leave the store but he drove off after looking like a bitch in public.

I think everyone should be forced to work retail for 3 months including cash register duty. Only then will people truly understand how dumb and ultimately futile it is to pull shit like that.

I've got you beat. There is this fat annoying guy that comes in with his mom. The entire time he is in the store he just blathers on about memes. I was putting up some new product on the walls, and out of nowhere he yells "IMMA CHARGIN MA LAZZSS3R!!11!! he laughs, clearly proud of himself. He tried asking me for Battletoads, couldn't finish his sentence without giggling drool all over himself.

Here is a handy tip. Sing the FFV rave music when sex offenders come in to alert the staff of their "level."

Insert "meow" as many times posssible into conversations with random stoners.

I could go on for days, but I want to avoid the ol' wall o' text.

Some of the guys I work with are able to fit in the "Thank you for calling...." speech at the end a quick "iloveyou" just like idiocrasy and no one realizes it ever happens.
