Valve has been in my mind ever since back in 1997 when my uncle brought a pirated copy of half life 1 (yes I know, it's a crime.)
I played it and it was like love at first site, when half life 2 was announced in 2004 my fanboy meter exploded couldn't wait but unfortunately back in 2004 my computer was a piece of crap, and I didn't have a xbox at the time either, so I was screwed, but of course I got my xbox along with the game, I gotta admit the second one I liked alot more, later on I got a new pc and added a new graphics card and NOW I own every single game valve has ever developed in steam. do I still play them all? not really after all I would choose team fortress 2 more than classic any day. half life in my personal opinion has the greatest story line of video gaming, the second greatest is fallout, Of course this is my personal opinion you don't have to get medieval on me.

one more thing, ALAN MOORE IS GOD! well the graphic novel god.

I used to record music in a recording studio a few years ago:

I only have one word for this game only one... PURE EPICNESS!! this game delivers everything I hoped for and a lot more specially the part where me and my friend had to make funny sounds so we don't shit our pants through the gameplay. After that he left leaving me alone with this game thinking "FUCK!" I haven't had much experience with scary games but I knew this game would be a big chunk of my life. Well the starting is you are in a ship and they are sending you to the ishimura or whatever those chinesse call it they are all flying around until The ship gets hit they make a emergency landing on the ship and well... Hell brakes loose.

the Game looks so stunning,

the game is so much fun the targeting system is perfect the only bad thing about this game THE ONLY BAD THING is that you can't turn quick to know those nasty ones breathing down you're neck are not really there even though the background sounds of pipes falling, monsters growling, and Doors going haywire make you think they are all over the place.

The soundtrack keeps you in the edge of you're seat as you hear... every single time you are in trouble this scratchy song comes like someone is flossing they're ass with a violin, which is not helping my stress enough, and It doesn't help to see you're spine (where it shows you're life bar) completely black from so much damage (cause it's usually a blue light) so he is walking like a crippled while grunting of pain ( which is a great feature by the way).

but to all seriousness this is rapture in space it is bioshock but in the future I mean the things you do are just like the stuff you do in bioshock powers, upgrades, store, and even his mask reminds me of a Rosie or big daddy. I am not saying dead space is a rip off from bioshock but hey they are both epic games that MUST BE PLAYED.

So I leave you with this people... BUY the game I truly recommend it If you wanna know the score from meta critic it is 89 that is really good puzzles are fun, shooting, stomping, and hiting is fun, and it doesn't hurt have a little scare this halloween specially with this game. Andif by any chance you think you are gonna start with the sick teaser trailer suit tough luck cause you upgrade the suit which is another great feature but it is not too hard to get I don't like the first one though.

HAVE FUN!

I beat it and thought everything was AMAZING except for the last chapter, which just would not end. Still a must-buy for horror fans though.

yea the game has obvious influences from RE4, Bioshock, and Half-life 2. but for the most part they just take 1 or 2 aspects from them and makes them their own. its an outstanding game to add to any survival horror collection

I love this game SO MUCH pretty much the best game I have played in a LONG time and I actually think I am more hooked then when I played MGS4 (4 REELSZ yo)

I love the way they keep your inventory, maps and objectives in real time with the holographic menu as well as the videos so you can move around and all that. So awesome!
