About
We just want to have some fun and make some games.

Two novice programmers attempt to make a game from scratch in GameMaker engine (as seen in games such as Hotline Miami)

Our ambition will surely outweigh our talent. Come help us out, or just laugh and point fingers.

So my friend has already gotten underway with a prototype for what will surely be the next Mario. We found some software on the side of the internet and felt obliged to download it. GameMaker Studio to be precise. We had done some research into a game both of us have gained a lot of pleasure from in Hotline Miami by Jonatan Söderström and Dennis Wedin.

This was the software that insane fuck'em'up was created with so we thought that would be as good a place as any to start. My friend has really gotten into it, with help from online tutorials both in software and via YouTube he has created, a moving animated sprite with the ability to jump (not yet animated) and land on the surface under him without falling through the floor.

Not too bad for less than 24h of experience. God bless you internet.

We will be uploading stills and videos of the game during the development period hopefully including some hilarious bugs and possibly sharing code and handing out playable versions of the game if and when we feel it deserves it.
