Try to put more effort into your Blogs. And why is your only friend WiiSucks? Anyway, I would much rather have a 360 but that's just me.
If you do get a PS3 then definitely get Uncharted...that game looks awesome.
For the system I would say get the $400 one, then buy a laptop HDD off of NewEgg so you have more capacity than the $600 system for more than $100 less.
As for games, I guess Uncharted and Ratchet and Clank, go with Resistance if you have extra cash.
I don't have a PS3 nor do I plan to get one, so that's an outsiders opinion.
My opinion as a gamer: get a 360. If your really into games, it has the vastest majorty of games with the most quality behind them. Wait till the PS3 drops down in price, and comes out with some of it's signiture games like metal Gear and Final fantasy.
If your into casule games get the Wii but you should already know that and really only do it if you have the money to spare.
Obviously you didn't read my other blogs Shadow. The blog title was pretty self explanatory, I don't plan on writing my lifes story to get opinions for PS3 games. And Wiisucks owns, that's why he's my friend.
See I dont really want to upgrade the HDD, but I suppose I should since most (i believe most) games have an option of preloading the game to the hard drive right?
Well I already have a 360. PS3 just looked interesting to me. I believe the Persona games are going to be on it and I really liked those.
And I know this is pointless but Clockwork could you try like I don't know, not being completely useless in reference to my question? And I dont know, post something helpful?

I have seen your other blogs, that has nothing to do with this blog. The blog title WAS self explanatory but the C-Blogs aren't for one sentence. I hate to pull a Heretic but if you want one sentence with no other text or images then take it to the forums. And I NEVER say that. Just go check the internet, Game Rankings, or a million other sites that discuss the PS3 and have game reviews. All of the info you're looking for is readily available all over the place and you want us to do the work for you.
And yes, WiiSucks does own.
Spend your money on more 360 games or a better TV or sound system to play 360 games on.
Rachet and Clank looks awesome. That's the only PS3 game I'm really interested in.
Well, as a PS3 owner, here are my suggestions:
1) If you have a significant collection of PS2 games that you still play, try to find the 60 GB model on eBay or something; it. Of course, if PS2 backward compatibility isn’t an issue, just get the 40 GB edition.
2) If you have an HDTV, you’re going to need better cables than what comes in the box (composite video). Ideally, your TV would have an HDMI input — but don’t be sucked in by store employees and the ridiculous markup on the cables they sell; you can get a six-foot HDMI cable for around $5 on Amazon.com, including shipping. Otherwise, you’ll have to go with PS3 component cables; Sony’s official (10-foot, I think) cables retail for $15–20.
3) You’re probably already aware of this, but if you’re buying the PS3 new, you get five free Blu-ray movies with it. Of course, you’re restricted to a short list of choices, but hey, that’s still $150 worth of movies that you’re not paying for, and you’re bound to find at least a few that you like on the list.
4) As for games, I currently own seven of them: Resistance: Fall of Man

Guitar Hero III
Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Rock Band
Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune
Like kintaeb, I’d advise picking up Uncharted and R&C. Warhawk is a lot of fun as well, especially with Dtoiders on [url=http://www.destructoid.com/blogs/shipero/wednesday-night-warcawks-12-after-christmas-blowout-61432.phtmlWednesday Night Warcawks[/i], but beware — the game is multiplayer-only. I never got around to beating Resistance — I was on the last level of the game when I stopped playing, because God of War II came out — but I did enjoy it.

I have a surround sound system for my 360, and an HDTV, and like 20-25 games for it. So I dont need more for my 360. And thanks for the info Bronx. By any chance you actually from there? I am.

Ahhh xaelus. I wasn't going to. But sure, I'll try and help you out. Honestly, don't get a PS3 yet. With the recent LittleBigPlanet delay, and the MGS4 delay, I'm sure this sounds like a rehashed reason that's been said over and over but there's just not enough games to keep you buys. Sure there's Uncharted, Warhawk, Everyday Shooter, MAYBE Motorstorm, but those games won't keep you entertained for as long as a video game console should. Wait for some knockout games to hit retail.

Bronxbomber listed pretty much all the good games to get, but I'll put some more emphasis on Warhawk and CoD4. WNW is extremly fun to play, alot of interesting people always show up for some fun. Headset is not required, but useful for yelling obsceneties at bhive01 and myself. Call of duty, while not ps3 exclusive, is still pretty fun, and you're bound to find some dtoiders shooting terrorists on it.

I just got my PS3. Like you, I already had a 360. I absolutely love my PS3. I initially got UT3, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and Resistance. I am very happy with my purchase. Like Bronx said, you can always upgrade the HDD, so don't weigh what features are important to you. I don't have a side on all of these fanboy wars because I have a PS3, 360 and Wii. I can tell you, the PS3 is a superior machine. The graphics on games like UT3, Ratchet and Uncharted are graphics that I have not yet seen on the 360. The PSNetwork runs just as well as Live (and its free). The lineup for PS3 in 2008 is going to be great. I am not sure what game I am going to get for 360 in 2008. I thought that it was going to be DMC, but it runs better on PS3. Just my opinion, you won't go wrong with the purchase. I really happy with mine.
Definitely go with Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Ratchet & Clank: Future Tools of Destruction,and Resistance: Fall of Man. These are the best titles on the system at the moment IMO.
Thankfully blogs are also the perfect place to start internet fights with all the sissy slapping and e-penis waving.
Dude, unless you have a massive hard on for Sony and you have PS2 games out the wazoo to play, I'd ge ta 360. Better investment of money right now. Maybe 3-4 years from now the PS3 will turn their shit around and start cranking out a ton of titles, but right now, it's not as much as it could be.
For all you people suggesting that he get a 360 instead of a PS3, I point you to comment #9...

Yeah, this definitely belongs in the forums...but otherwise, you’d think that xaelus could actually get some good advice from people other than liam2015, smellyelite, HipHop Junkie, and me. If he’s asking about a PS3, why are like half of the people who commented on this blog discussing the merits of the 360 as opposed to the PS3? We know you love your console, but keep it to yourself — especially considering the dude already has one.
Thinking of getting PS3? THINK AGAIN!! Haha just kidding. But seriously, think again.
