The Saddest Story Ever Told.

You ever ignore your friends for pissing you off sometimes? I did that last night to my best friend "Ossisk", he has a real bad tendency to be a smartass. So I gave him the 24 real life ban, something "Lv99ron" does a lot to me when I piss him off. We are a group of close knit friends, almost brothers. For some odd reason Ron decided to see that craptastic film "Underworld Rise Of The Lycans" today. During the film I kept getting a phone call from Ossisk, I kept on denying it. Something I feel very bad in doing...See Ossisk was calling me to just talk. Apparently he decided to go to church today something he never does, the whole time he was there he couldn't wait to get home and watch Lord Of The Rings on Netflix via the Xbox 360. The entire mass he was busy playing his brand new PSP that he worked very hard to purchase. When mass was over he went home, thinking he would be relaxing and soon to be watching the adventures of Frodo. Just to find his house had been broken into. His Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii, hdtv, and various Blu-Rays and games were all taken from him, devastated he was trying to reach me, and being the dickhead that I was ignoring him. The sad thing is Ossisk comes from a neighborhood were people are to afraid to stand up to criminals because of retaliation. Upon calling the cops they were making jokes, acting as if he didn't even own these things. How hard is it to believe? Ossisk works very long hours and very hard purchase said items.... He went to the a next door neighbor, he asked if she had seen anything. "I saw two men carrying your trash cans out of your house, I am telling you and not the cops" the lady responded. Ossisk drove around his neighboorhod, right in front of a house four houses down from his was his trash can. Unfortunatley it's a home of two guys in the "Bloods" gang. Ossisk drove to the police station, told them he had proof they stole his things. The police said they didn't have the manpower to investigate, they told him to just add it to the report. Now my poor friend is scared and angry at his home, and in his words "feeling violated". Hoping to wake up from this terrible nightmare and getting back on Skate 2. Goes to show you that no matter how good you try to be, sometimes you get the shit end of the stick. Currently Lv99ron and I are setting some money aside to help Ossisk get a Xbox360. I am trying to see if anyone logs into his Xbox Live account and see if I can do something, or anything at all. Everyone stay safe.

Do you think Midway will survive after MK vs DC? (Spoiler)
xXTUBBYXx | 4:24 PM on 11.20.2008 10 comments

This is Midway's chance to not go down with other game companies in this horrid time with our economy. Do you guys really think this will give them enough money to stay afloat? Seriously? I played the game, it got boring really quick, not to mention the horrible story and so-so controls didn't help at all. When I was a kid Mortal Kombat meant tons of gore, badass characters and constant bombardment of the media for its content.(SPOILER) Now I have to look forward to a combination of Shoa Khan and Darkseid as a boss?(SPOILER) What the hell happened to the mid bosses, by the way. Remember going up the ranks and fighting Shang Tsung, to Goro. You don't get that in the new game. Nope you get a crappy game, with nerfed fatalities. It's like playing darts with a whoopee cushion as your ammo. It's that safe.

Awesome graphics!, Great Controls!, The Textures are crazy!...but the music sucks.

What ever happened to the good ol' days of gaming music? I work in QA, and I am pretty sure if I start humming the tune to Jago's level in Killer Instinct's someone will follow. Remember when you would start a game on the Snes, Genesis or even the Gameboy, and the tunes would stick with you? Even the crappy games had awesome music, example The Return Of The Joker on Gameboy. Seems to me like so much effort is put into the main core of a game, and the music is just something of a afterthought. It might just be that I am getting older and not caring for the new tunes? I am not sure. Last good game I played with great music was Bioshock. Do you guys feel the same? Have developers lost the music touch? Now that they can create a tune on a computer and slap into a game without ever thinking.... I remember being so hyped up when I started Starfox (SNES) and hearing that weird computer voice then that kickass music started playing in the background...oh the days.
