Now after reading the title your probably thinking, correct what? Well i've heard GoW 2 didn't quite make it up to par. I read it in magazines, hear it from friends, even my uncle, who works for EPIC thinks it didn't quite make it. Does anybody think otherwise? Or is it true that GoW 2 just didn't work out?

I myself haven't played it at all, but really, after hearing about reviews, hearing all the gossip about it, and such, is number two in this awesome series (series....2 games? XD) really worth buying? To me, the little chainsaw showdowns in the trailers and such look pretty sweet. In gameinformer it said that #2 worked out some of the kinks and cogs about #1, such as why was Marcus in a prison? Why is he called a traitor? and such.

So Dtoiders, tell me,

Is Gears of war 2 really that awesome?

OMG your uncle is Cliffy B?

Because everyone knows that Cliffy B is the only person that made Gears 2.

But seriously, I honestly don't know if it is good or not. I am not really a Gears fan. I can't imagine it being not good. Really the only bad thing I have heard about it is that the shotgun is less powerful, so that makes shotgun fans sad.

If you love Gears, you'll love GoW 2.

If you don't, get God of War 2. Same initials, guaranteed awesome.

I really enjoy it and don't understand most of the complaints. The shotguns not being as powerful cuts down on shotgun battle's which were annoying as hell in the first and makes the game a much more strategic affair. I also think that the single player is a lot more varied and a hell of a lot more fun. If you want to play multiplayer with me some time my gamertag is Gemini1986.

It's good, but be prepared to not have any options for multiplayer unless you only want to play with friends. Also, the game eats saves and will erase your achievement progress on a whim. I would check out the Gears of War forums, you will see all of the issues there. It's a really good game, but plays like it wasn't tested at all.

thanks guys, i might buy it and check it out. Im glad for the shotgun bieng cut down, in gears 1 the only weapons i saw bieng used were the sniper and shotgun
