I know many people here at Destructoid are looking to get in on FEAR 2. Well today you can go cancel those silly Gamestop preorders.

Also, if you spend more than $50 you get free shipping. I just added a blu-ray to get me over 50 to get free shipping instead of paying the 7.95 shipping for just the game. The $7.95 for standard shipping ruins this and I can't find another game I want, so I can't get the free shipping. Guess I will wait for a price drop.

Steel Squirrel

If you played the first one on the PS3, that was a bad impression of it. The PS3 version was ported over terribly. The sound was all muffled and the game was just shittier looking overall and had some frame rate issues. I don't know who was in charge of that port, but it was fucking terrible.

It was a pretty solid game on the 360 though, it had some fun MP and the instant action mode was cool. I will probably pick up this one later on when the price is decent enough. Going on the demo, FEAR 2 seems to have a lot more going for it than the original did. It seems to have a little more character and atmosphere than the 1st FEAR and iron sights are always good in FPS games.
