nah the faceplate is one i did, i drew some Keith Haring stuff on it because hes an artist i really like.
power brick is fine, i tested it with another xbox and it worked fine. like i said.....i must have nanobots ^^
i got told in IRC that sometimes they live for a bit after a RROD and then die, so im keeping my eye on it for the next few days
