today is a great day for live arcade games
i turned on my 360 to find these gems for sale and i went straight down town to buy some goddamned
microsoft points!

1st part of the sega vintage collection

im not too big a fan of this game but meh its okay

Now this is vintage!

hells yeah, shinobi is one kick ass game!

ALTERED BEAST!!!!!!!
now who in their right mind does not enjoy altered beast?

Sonic the hedgehog 3 is the best in my eyes, it blows sonic 2 out of the water easily
sonic 2 is good but its no sonic 3
Sonic 3 also has some of the best stage music EVER!
see Ice Cap Zone, Lava Reef Zone and Marble Garden Zone

and saving the best for last......my favorite game of all time!

HOLY SHIT ON A SHINGLE ITS GUNSTAR HEROES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This game is simply amazing, the stages, the weapons and the bosses come together to form the single
greatest Mega Drive game of all time!

The beauty of all of these games is that they are only 400 POINTS EACH!
so buy all of these (bar comix zone) NOW!

and don't forget........these aren't genesis games
these are MEGA DRIVE GAMES!

Considering 5 of the 6 games are on the Sega Genesis Collection, anybody buying this and not the disc version is stupid. VERY stupid.

Gunstar Heroes is a nice addition though, although I will get the PS3 version, because I don't want to play it with the 360 d-pad.

Hey guys,

PROTIP: The collection sucks. Everything about it is a fucking mess.
I'd rather buy games I want to play stight from now on, I'll get PS4 for my wii at some point but having to deal with a shitty menu with shitty options and fatures that lack and fail at life and don't give me the true version of Sonic 3. If I have to spend 800msp for Sonic 3 and knuickles, then so the fuck be it.

I have the collection for PS3, and other then the lack of Gunstar and a mildly shitty menu system, I think it's pretty good.

I mean, it has Comix Zone, and that alone is a huge win.

Alsio, the shining force games kick ass.

I got the collection, but I'll likely pickup Gunstar Heroes as I haven't gotten round to Virtual Console-ing it yet.

Also, I hate playing as Knuckles. Though he does make some levels a hell of a lot easier.

This is really neat, and I love Comix Zone, and freaking ADORE Gunstar Heroes, but dude: just wait for the collection to go on clearance.

You'll kick yourself in a few months when you paid $10-$15 for a few ROM titles when the collection, that has tons more, is $20.

@Wilbo - To be fair, you made it sound like you were purchasing each of these titles individually from XBL Marketplace, and you're recommending everyone do the same. Clearly, a better recommendation would be to point them in the way of the Sonic collection available for 360/PS3.

These are some classicly awesome games, though! I might get the collection, but I'd mostly stick to ROMs.

I wouldn't have known that Gunstar Heroes was out if I hadn't seen you playing it online yesterday. So thanks for the indirect heads-up!

Either this game is really hard, or I just suck. I couldn't get past the 18 different crab bosses in the mine cart stage.
