I didn't think that had Gunstar Heroes.
Considering 5 of the 6 games are on the Sega Genesis Collection, anybody buying this and not the disc version is stupid. VERY stupid.
Gunstar Heroes is a nice addition though, although I will get the PS3 version, because I don't want to play it with the 360 d-pad.

Gunstar Heroes is simply amazing...up there with Metal Slug in terms of 2d infantry shooters.

PROTIP: The collection sucks. Everything about it is a fucking mess.
I'd rather buy games I want to play stight from now on, I'll get PS4 for my wii at some point but having to deal with a shitty menu with shitty options and fatures that lack and fail at life and don't give me the true version of Sonic 3. If I have to spend 800msp for Sonic 3 and knuickles, then so the fuck be it.

I have the collection for PS3, and other then the lack of Gunstar and a mildly shitty menu system, I think it's pretty good.
I mean, it has Comix Zone, and that alone is a huge win.
Alsio, the shining force games kick ass.
And yet you can get all of these bar Gunstar Heroes on Sega Ultimate Mega Drive Collection. SO WHAT IS THE POINT?

I got the collection, but I'll likely pickup Gunstar Heroes as I haven't gotten round to Virtual Console-ing it yet.
Also, I hate playing as Knuckles. Though he does make some levels a hell of a lot easier.

This is really neat, and I love Comix Zone, and freaking ADORE Gunstar Heroes, but dude: just wait for the collection to go on clearance.
You'll kick yourself in a few months when you paid $10-$15 for a few ROM titles when the collection, that has tons more, is $20.

@Wilbo - To be fair, you made it sound like you were purchasing each of these titles individually from XBL Marketplace, and you're recommending everyone do the same. Clearly, a better recommendation would be to point them in the way of the Sonic collection available for 360/PS3.
These are some classicly awesome games, though! I might get the collection, but I'd mostly stick to ROMs.
Couldn't you just play the rom for free? $5 bucks seems pretty steep for what it is.

Either this game is really hard, or I just suck. I couldn't get past the 18 different crab bosses in the mine cart stage.
