I like real more and nice job so far keep up the good work.
I like the first design, it's less busy and not as distracting.
I say go with the real stuff. just make sure you sand and stain that baby nice and smooth.
Real would look classier, drawn would probably match that 80's arcade cabinet aesthetic better. I guess I vote real.
If you are going for the retro Atari look, then I would stick with the illustrated.
I'd say illustrated. I seems to fit the "retro" look more, what with it not being overly textured but it has a more limited pallet like, say, an 8-bit game with only 16 colours to choose from.
