Those are all orignal games that are worth the money, I'm also excludeing all puzzle games form this discussion because most good puzzle games base there ideas off traditonal board games, and well, thats not very creative. You can only put so much art style into a tetris game, know what im sayin'?
Anyway, main discussion.
Game number one that I want to know a release date for is
Castle Crashers
Now this game just looks awesome. 4 Players old school side scrolling, maybe imagine a golden axe game with a little bit of double dragon, this games art style caught my attention the first moment i saw it, cant wait for it. Still...no release date, no news has been posted for quite awhile. I think the last actual news we heard about it, or i heard, was at PAX 07. For a dev company that stems from underground flashtoons, they sure are keeping tight liped about things, that or they just dont care.

Again, this game is going to be good, its just a given because its from the same guy that did all the zombie smashers x stuff (totally screwed software now know as ska Software).
So as long as the developer isn't doing meth or something, or maybe coke, then this game ought to be good.
I feel that most XBLA titles lack value when you consider the price you pay for them, they dont really feel like "games", It just seems since there not on a disk devs feel like there powers limited, which really it shouldnt be. I just want some better quality and drive put into XBLA games, insted of them feeling like demos half the time.
Also, with the above being said, i guess it also makes me a HIPPOcrite..oh well, i just wanna play castle crashers.

Small Arms is freakin' Smaah Brothers without Mario and Squirtle.
There are a LOT of good games on Live Arcade though...
I have over 30. $5 and $10 is a great sweet spot for a quick shoot 'em up, or a puzzle game.
I would have to say that by far, the best game is still Geometry Wars.
Followed by my close second is Pac Man CE, which is strangely hypnotic and mesmerizing.

And those are just the ones I like, there are plenty of other good games on there (just not games that I'm personally into) like Bomberman Live, Every Extend Extra Extreme, Exit, Puzzle Fighter HD, Puzzle Quest, and more. If you're into retro games you have even more options.
I've heard GripShift, Undertow, and Carcassonne are good but I haven't played them myself. A lot of these are original games. I'm not too into puzzle games but the fact that you say they aren't original and completely disregard them is ignorant.

Not everyone is going to like every game, that is why XBLA has such a wide selection...and most people like Doom. The third one sucked, but the first two are great, especially in their time.
And of course everyone has different opinions. That's why you stated that Doom was good as fact, and I stated it sucked as fact. This far into the internet's lifespan I shouldn't have to explain this, but not everything must be prefaced with "I respect others' rights to disagree, but, personally, I feel..." Calling doom suck...thats evil dude, that statement in itself could create hell, but i do agree doom on XBLA is suck because you cant use WADs, if you know what im talking about. Oh and dooms not dead, lots of peopel still play it online, look up zdameon, tell me how many servers you find. Yeah, amazing isn't it?

I like small arms, alot of people do, plus why the fuck would i buy doom 1 for XBLA when i have all the dooms up to ultimate on PC, and i still play zdameon, if you even know what the fuck that is off the top of your head, if you actually bought Doom on XBL, well then, your jsut dumb to not consider the fact that ITS FUCKING OPEN SOURCE SHAREWARE ON PC!!
I have the marble game on SNES, not the same as XBL but gamerscore is not my life, so fuck it.
Already beat mutant storm, but the fact it has no online multiplay is stupid.

Small Arms sucks ass that is why it was already discounted and didn't even come out that long ago. At least most of the other games were out for a long time. I love Smash Bros. and was excited for this game until I played it. I would rather have a bum shit on my face than play it ever again. I guess what I'm trying to say is would you like to come over?
Doom is much more fun to play with a controller relaxing on my couch. It looks surprisingly good on my 52" TV. Plus my friends and I could play together locally, or online without having to fuck with lots of different programs and compatibility issues. Sure a mouse and keyboard is great but Doom isn't exactly complicated.
Marble Blast Ultra is not on the SNES. You're probably thinking of Marble Madness which is nothing like Marble Blast Ultra, and that was on the NES.
Mutant Storm Empire does have online play you incompetent douche.
As for Prince of Persia if you like the 2D one fine (I didn't buy it for XBLA either) but not everyone wants to fuck with old games on their PC, and perhaps they would like to enjoy it with 3D graphics in HD. Just because you're poor doesn't mean we can't pay to enjoy better looking games.
There are tons of faceless puzzle game clones, but the same can be said of every genre. There are plenty of unique, fantastic puzzle games, just like every other genre.

Um I'm sorry Small arms is almost a year old now, a lot of peopel do like that game, if you don't thats cool, but unless you can prove that 99 precent of the world hates it, then your wrong.

Yeah a 52" HDTV might be cool, but to be honest that shit kind of hurts my eyes and neck because the screens to fucking big, and Doom on PC has aloooot less problems than XBLA does, you know how many patches have been released on Z-Dameon and Doom? An awful lot, thats for sure. And if you want to play with your freinds on the same console thats cool, too bad they can look at your screen though....and if your friends can't get Z-dameon do work, i dont know how they would even know how to turn on a 360, because its pretty simple to play Doom on Win, hell i run it on vista, works fine.
And plus, your HD dont do shit, a PC can get higher res with the right stuff anyway, I'm positive of this to be true.

The facts that I was referring to were exactly that, facts, not opinions. It is a fact that you can play Mutant Storm Empire online, that is not an opinion. It is a fact that Marble Blast Ultra was not on that SNES. Those are the only things I meant to be facts.
As for Small Arms, check the user reviews on all major sites, the game was not well liked. If you enjoy it, whatever. I like some poorly reviewed games too but I'm telling you that it isn't popular.
If you don't like big TVs that's fine, and I've had no problems with Doom on the 360.
And I'm well aware the PC can do HD resolutions (and beyond).
Like I said, I didn't start this, I just gave my opinion on how enjoyable XBLA was and you made a shit storm out of it. I'm not in this to fight, and I'm certainly not trolling. So if you would relax it's all good.

Marble Blast Ultra is fucking win, BTW. I just recently got it. It's a steal for 400pts. The single player is challenging and online is fun as hell. Oh, and it's NOT MARBLE MADNESS.
Perhaps zero fire trucks was a bit harsh, fire trucks are pretty serious business in these parts.
I should have used the word cheap instead of poor I guess. You just seemed to say that because things were free on the PC means they shouldn't ever be paid for. Personally, I like it when they enhance a game like Prince of Persia to play in widescreen 720p with everything redesigned in 3D. They also have the Gamerscore and community features that are so well integrated. I know it is free on PC but perhaps I wanted to play the updated version? You just seemed to hate anything new or that costs money, it's just the vibe you put off. I'm a big PC fan too, but some things I just want to play on my 360.

You're damn right it owns. It was the first XBLA game I purchased. I was in the top 1,000 for a while. The game has a pretty big following. Online play is damn fun too. I got all the achievements and still played it long after. They were going to release a patch that fixed a few bugs and added a good amount of multiplayer levels but due to some issue with Microsoft or their publisher it was sadly never released. Rumor has it that it may still surface someday. They had some gamer pics (and possibly a theme) ready as well but they never saw release either. The rumor was that they wanted to release it for free but their publishers or MS wanted to charge for it. The good news is that we may be getting a new game, or perhaps the update soon because their website is hinting at something new being announced soon: http://www.marbleblastultra.com/
The demo was pretty fun but I don't see myself playing it enough to be worth $10. If it was $5 I probably would have jumped in.
I think I got as much time out of Marble Blast Ultra as I put into some full retail games... I remember running into levels feeling like they were impossible. It has such a great ramp of difficulty, constantly rising and challenging you. God I can't wait for a sequel.

I've been playing MBU a lot the last day or two and I love it. I just made it to the Advanced Levels and it's getting really hard now. XD
Also, I don't think I've ever had so much fun online in an XBLA game. I could see myself playing this online long after I get all the achievements (which is really saying something, since I have an achievement obsession.....>_>).
Yeah, the funny thing is when I saw that the game had online play I couldn't think of any way that it could be fun and didn't try it for a while. I was pleasantly surprised when I got around to it. I'm especially thankful that it has voice chat, just smacking the shit out of each other's balls (LOL) while chatting about random shit is a ton of fun. There are some really good people out there...I'm better than the average player, but there are people that completely dominate me.
