Why is April 11th a important date?

Well, on April 11th at midnight, EA's 2 billion dollar offer will have legally expired.

EA owning the majority of take two would be the worst thing to happen to videogames EVAR.

So one big question on my mind is, will take two shareholders buckle? Or will EA get bitch slapped like it deserves?

EA does not deserve a single bit of what R*north has built. Or any other R* dev team for that matter.

Fuck EA. There like the dragon force of video games, THERE CHEESY AS HELL AND THEY ARE BULLSHIT.

EA has become a lot better company over the last few years. I think you're just bitter, especially considering that Activision is way worse than them right now.

As much as I don't want to join in on the "Electronic Arts hating" bandwagon, I tend to have a strong dislike for them since they bastardized a few good gaming franchises.

Eh, doesn't matter too much to me. I don't play any Rockstar games that I am aware of and aslong as EA doesn't screw up the distrubiting of L4D or any other Valve title, I am fine, they can do what they want.

As long as Valve stays independent and Steam keeps getting support... don't care. To me EA, Take Two, and Rockstar all help create titles that push gaming in the wrong direction, ie $$$.

The reason EA want Take Two is for their sports titles. They are trying to buy them now before GTA4 comes out due to the obvious increase in share price that will happen once this title comes out. It's not evil, it's just doing what it can to survive and make more money.
