London Games Festival: Free stuff is free, and disapointing

After seeing the vast amounts of awesome free stuff other people seem to get at free gaming events I thought I would try my hand at the EA event in London-town.

After around 30 minuets of queuing in the rain I get to the front of the "goody bag" line to get my free stuff. The bag contained:

- 1 x small book about EA games
- 1 x "The Sims 2 - An Introduction" CD
- 1 x light up pen
- 2 x packets of m&m's

I know it's free, and that food is food, but come on. UK gaming will never be taken seriously when there aren't even free t-shirts.

aww hunny, let this E-hug, provide you with comfort. i on the other hand went to the london mcm expo, and if i didnt spend most of that weekend drunk with a close gorup of friends, it would have been crap, next time you should join me ^_^

That is not quite as sad as what EA gave us at my Unis freshers fair. A tiny can of coke, some M&Ms and that small book.
