(As none of you will remember, a few months ago I bought a PS3. I was fed up with MS and the service I was paying for. A service which was broken for a month and which Sony are giving away for FREE.) Dear Sir/Madam, I have just been perusing a few of my favourite websites on this internets and discovered a sadly bitter, and familiar set of articles referring to Xbox Live. The service you charge me the price of a full game for, once per year. As you may remember from my previous letter (01.04.2008 - Dear Xbox Live: You Asshat.) I have been disappointed by your efforts in being able to cope with predictable traffic spikes. You told me you had learnt from your mistakes, and that everything was fine. You even gave me a free game to make up for it. This made me happy and I assumed, as you said, everything was fixed. Then these new map packs came out for the best game ever, Callings of Duty. You knew how many people had the game, you also knew several of these people might want to get these maps. Yet, once again, you failed to provide a solid backbone to your service. You failed to adequately provide a working service. So, you didn't really learn anything did you? What exactly has changed since January? Please, either make the Live service free, or make it worth the money. There is no middle ground here. Home is just around the corner and unless you want Mr. Sterling to be right, I suggest you sort your shit out. Fast. Yours hugs and kisses disappointedrox

However, on this occasion (and this occasion only) I agree with you, the extra traffic for the CoD4 maps cannot have been that much greater than at Christmas.
If Microsoft really did fix their servers why the hell are we still getting crap service at times like this?

Did you really contrast the reliability of xbox live to the airline industry...apparently you havent ever been overbooked for a flight on christmas eve
PS3 on the other hand, while not as robust and developed as Live, is extremely reliable in comparison, I don't think I've ever had an issue with it that wasn't my fault.

good work, stand us for the little man for once. although i have personally had no problems, too right with the letter as all my friends whine like bitches about their connections
