Oh look, another post from Wardrox moaning about something Call of Duty related!
However, on this occasion (and this occasion only) I agree with you, the extra traffic for the CoD4 maps cannot have been that much greater than at Christmas.
If Microsoft really did fix their servers why the hell are we still getting crap service at times like this?

I agree. Live was pretty much bent over a barell, if you know what I mean. Though I did have a fun time with you guys playing Halo 3. I'll make sure to come again next time.

They could have p repaired for this. You know airports run more flights in times with more air traffic, that sort of thing. They need servers that can at least handle the number of subscriptions they have.

But if you go, you'll never feel the epic joy of getting Undertow 2 for free! Oh, Mister Gates, surely now you see the folly in distributing COD Maps without a plan. How are we supposed to move to digital distribution when your system can't even handle a popular piece of DLC. Just imagine if the popular file were an HD movie; the single compy486 running the service would explode into itself and form a black hole. Yes, a similar black hole to where our money goes when we have to buy additional blocks of microsoft points for the odd amounts.
I missed a large chunk of the Euro FNF because of this and that makes me one angry panda! one more reason why CoD4 sucks!
O so true Microsoft really should be better than this, it's quite sad their not, hell even Nintendo's crappy online service works more...

As much as a love my Xbox and the Live service I have to admit that it is a giant pain in the ass, I live in fear of the console and the service, it could explode at any time - it scares me.
PS3 on the other hand, while not as robust and developed as Live, is extremely reliable in comparison, I don't think I've ever had an issue with it that wasn't my fault.
I'll go play some lag-free Mario Strikers while its down. Worth mentioning that after the Christmas crash my Live didn't get working again until February.
Oh well, another chance to get Undertow free eh?
