This is a really good idea, but you've gotta take it a little further. Pick some pictures that go with your story, and tell us about a specific moment of awesomeness.
Here's one of mine: Once, after beating two of my friends in Mario Kart for the 12th time in a row, one leaned over and just took my controller away. I was really furious at first -- I wanted to see how long my streak would last -- but that race got so screwed up by us struggling in real life that it was too hard not to laugh. Good times.

I've kicked controllers from my friends in brawl. At least I'm nice enough to let them pick it up before I wail on their character
