Yeah, the bastard's going away, but do not worry! Although I am a noob in all things Nintendo Wifi, I've figured out how to get this sucker to work. I even tested it out by having a practice battle with Styos. If it wasn't for me forgetting to leave my Magikarp in my party I would of won too...
Anyways, I'm going to follow in Dexter's footsteps by kicking this sucker off at 7 PM PST and 10 PM EST. Don't forget to hand me your Pokémon friend codes so I and other D'toiders can add you to my/their Pal Pad so we can get things started promptly. I wanna' battle yous all!

Bring any Pokémon you'd like. The game auto-levels your Pokemon if we set the cap to 50 or 100. If your Pokemon is at a higher level it will temporarily reduce it down to 50 or 100. If it's lower it'll temporarily increase it to whatever we set it at. That way we have an even playing field. If people would like to battle without the level cap that's perfectly fine. I'm really excited for double battles though. I hope we can get that set up (meaning, I hope we get enough people to play).
If you'd like to trade, go ahead and leave a comment with which Pokémon you're looking for. With any luck some fellow D'toiders will have what you're looking for. I myself am looking for a ditto and a Bulbasaur.
Pokemon already has a voice chat feature. I'm pretty positive it uses the built in microphone, but don't quote me on that. For adding and finding your Friend Code just go into your key items and use your Pal Pad.
For IRC download MIRC and go into irc.dynasty.net and then go to channel #destructoid.
