This video makes me wish I had a good enough computer to run Crysis

This is awesome. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go try and replicate this in GMod for a few minutes, then spend the next few hours crying because my computer crashes trying to make more than 30 barrels explode.

Is this post awesome? Vote it up!

Ocified-Xboxer's Destructoid Blog
aside from the fact that "it looks cool" am i missing on why thats so great? looks like an enormous waste of time to me...huge explosions rock...but i dont get it...

"It looks really fucking cool" is pretty much the only reason. If it's anything like GMod, I'm sure there are ways to auto stack barrels and stuff like that, so it only takes a matter of minutes to set something like this up.

I really don't mind wasting 5 minutes to create something like this.

that makes a little more sense...i thought there was someone who was taking a shitload of time stacking barrels.

that's sexy....makes me wish I had a computer that'd even run Crisis.

Congrats on getting your video on front page again.

My PC can do this. Your PC can do this. The video isn't in real time, it's rendered frame by frame.

Comments policy

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?

Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
