This is from some TV show called "Life", which I've never heard of before.
Pretty hilarious stuff, but only because it's so stupid. Does Prince of Persia even have levels?
Well, I'm going to go play my 360 and try to unlock my secret porn stash that I accidentally locked away in my hard drive. I just wish I would have programmed it into a more enjoyable game than Bomberman: Act Zero.
I won't even be in the mood any more by the time I finish playing this shit. D:
My favorite part was the girl making the hand motions like she was playing the game. She reminds me of people who pretend to play DDR while someone else is playing, except worse.
.......nevermind, the DDR people are definitely worse.
WTF? Who pretends to play games with their fingers???
So, the kid hacked his xbox so that when you reach 'level 10' in prince of persia, you get a bunch of hidden files? Whoever wrote this episode needs to be shot.
I love how people playing videogames always seem to rapidly tap buttons even when it doesn't match the actions being done on the screen. Kinda like that part near the end where the prince leaps on the horse. That looks like an in-game cutscene to me rather than actual gameplay... or at least nothing that requires rapid B-button tapping XD
@tsunami
No, people pretending to do controller presses are MUCH worse than DDR pretenders.
Or those people that act like they're playing guitar hero without the controllers. Oh wait, those are called "guitarists." :P
Christ, I'm not really sure why they feel the need to even modify scenes where people play video games in television. Wouldn't it just save them money to just have a shot of the person playing the actual video game as opposed to paying someone to put "Level 12! You get 10 points!" on the screen?
I just thought the Captain Kirk line was funny, cuz I have absolutely no clue what that has to do with gaming...
I cant wait until this generation grows older and takes over the world...then maybe gaming will be more understood.
@MissHinasaki
I think they HAD to put the idea of a "Level 10" in order to have the public understand that you could only access the files after a goal was reached. I feel the majority of people don't have the realize that games have evolved from the simple goal-based objectives of the past (hi-scores, level 8-8, etc) to having captivating storylines and characters with meaning.
Without the goal of "Level 10", the writers probly felt most people would be confused.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
That was hilariously retarded.

So sad....
Plus, what game system is just an HDD with games on it? Definitely not the Xbox, haha.
