This is an old forum post I did back in May. What I'm trying to say is I think it is interesting and you should too.
*clears throat
Recently I wandered into my local EB to peruse their latest selection and was affronted by an outlandish offer. I'm sure you all know of EB's infamous trade in policy; or the way that crappy store makes all of its money.
If one was so inclined, one could trade in a PS2 and 20 games for a measly 300 bucks off a PS3 (from memory, so don't quote me on that).
Needless to say I was quite insulted, but it did get me thinking. What fucking moron would have 20 ps2 games?
Well, it turns out I am just that moron. I was stunned and quite troubled by this disturbing revelation.
How much money have I squandered throughout my years of gaming? How titanic, how complete, how consuming had my nerdom become?

Jesus Fucking Christ.
And my collection is reasonably modest I think...
But at the end of the day I think that gaming is still cheaper than a modest crack habit.
THIS COULD HAVE BEEN ME!
For reals.
Guess what I'm trying to say is, don't feel bad man, you can always go back and replay a game, you can't re-eat $50 worth of food or drink.
