Hendrix College Odyssey

Hello Internet,
This is my first ever blog, I'm starting it to hopefully get my foot in the door in the video game industry, which I am hoping to enter after college. Right now I am hearing back from lots of different colleges to see if I am accepted, but one of the most appealing to me is Hendrix. I am competing for a scholarship there which will give me a full ride and they will also let me do an Odyssey. An Odyssey is a fully funded project where I can do basically anything and get credit for it. I already pitched an idea to them, researching the cultural influences in America and Japan and how they affect their video games. This would essentially mean that I could visit big name developers in both America and Japan and talk to them. That would be amazing!
And that brings me to this blog. I want to start talking about games and maybe in the future start talking about my experience on my Odyssey. I would really appreciate if any readers gave me ideas on what they would like to have me do for this project; any questions, concerns, ideas. I'll take them all.
