That's right! I'm now 21 years old! July 29, 1987 was a day that will go down in infamy as I popped out of my mommy along with my twin sister, forever making the world a better place!
Fast forward 21 years, and here I am, getting presents and drinks. Last night, in celebration, I drank a bit much having:
-A microbrewery beer sampler
-An Irish Carbomb
-2 Surfers on Acid
-and a Three Wiseman
I'm somewhat a lightweight so all this alcohol was a bit much. I wasn't feeling too hot this morning, but after a hearty puking session, I feel great! Great enough to survey the loot I got yesterday:
-New Death Cab cd
-80GB Silver iPod Classic
-Drinking game set
-Couple of t-shirts
-Money
-Soul Calibur IV for the 360
-And the creme de la creme, a George Foreman Grill! Hooray!
So after all of this, I'm getting to the point of my blog: who wants to do an online tourney for Soul Calibur IV this Friday? Who even has a clear idea on how this might work? I think getting a group chatting over IRC might work, but what go you think?
Oh, and Neiro wished my happy birthday on Facebook, so I win a cookie with lots of sprinks.
Dude during my 21, I was on a pool league and I started at noon. By the end of the day I have 22-23 shots of all different kinds of hard liquor in my 170 pound body lol. I don't remember how I got home lol.
But an 'Irish carbomb'... I gotta draw the line. That is the worst drink name ever.
I still wish you a happy belated though. I bet your Mum bought you the grill. Those things are essential.
Yeah, I know it's poor name. When I was in the UK, I was told to never buy that in the UK or Ireland because there you'll actually meet people who know those killed or injured by carbombs. It's an overrated drink, BTW.
Oh, and it was my aunt who got me the Grill. I love it.
If I'm not out Friday night, I'm definitely in for the tournament. You can set up quarter matches on Xbox Live with four people in a room, two fighters and two spectators, and the winner keeps playing.
Maybe we could have a couple rooms (brackets) if there are enough people, and the ones with the most wins or something start a new room and play each other while the losers battle it out. I guess IRC would be the best way to coordinate all this, but I've never been on there. I'll have to check it out now.
I have never come across it over here (London) to be honest. I don't think it would go down too well, you're right... I could see one of those moments where everything stops and goes quiet, like in the movies, if someone ordered one.
Man, you can thank your aunt when you watch all the bad stuff run into that little tray. Happy days.
How is Soul Calibur? I have a PS3, otherwise if I had it I would kick some serious arse* (*get battered).
I'm totally buying you a drink when we go out to a bar here in Berkeley (not if...when!)
Can't wait to hang out!!!
Dude, so I'm moving on Monday! My place is right across from the Ashby BART station. We'll definately chill
WELL I GOT MINE FREE FROM A PERSON WHO LOVES ME VERY MUCH! CAN YOU BEAT THAT? Oh, and we'll definitely play. It come out in the UK on Friday, right?
Also: I'm really nauseous from the drinking last night. I don't have a headache, but I have a very upset stomach. Anybody got any tips?
