Personally, I cannot stand the idea of MMORGPs. They suck the lives of people everywhere, which is the only reason I really don't want to play one: I have a life, and I don't want to ruin that.
Unless.......
Unless they came out with a Harry Potter MMO. I'm serious about it.It sounds lame, but I think it would be the coolest thing around, if they did it right. Imagine it:
1. Personally designed characters split into houses in a free-roaming Hogwarts.
2. Expansions and downloads corresponding to each book (i.e. The Chamber of Secrets opens up with the second book download, you can join the DA with the fifth book download)
3. PvP duels
4. Visit the castle, Hogsmeade, The Forbidden Forest, The Lake, Diagon Alley, parts of London, quidditch fields, The Burrow, The Ministry of Magic
5. Join the DA, the Order of the Phoenix, or even the Death Eaters.
7. Have a spell tree, corresponding to different disciplens (do protego enough, and you could even lean a patronus)
8. And with patronus's, they are like familiars and are summonable, with a personalized animal to be given.
9. At high levels, learn to apparate, become an animagus, fight dragons, enter the triwizard tournament, ride hippogriffs, own Firebolts and invisibility coats, and help the NPC's from the game.
10. Fulfill classroom assignments with adventures outside of school.
11. Each classroom corresponds to disciplines (Defense Against the Dark Arts would have defensive and healing, Potions would be alchemy and items making, Magical Creatures would be a beast class and so forth.)
Anyway, I just think there is so much potential, and I probably will never see this game ever made. Too bad, as it would be sweet.

The only decent HP game I've played so far was SS for the game boy color.
